“I didn’t choose the shelf life; the shelf life chose me.”
I wanted to cut some wood today, so started on the kitchen pantry shelves. One of the reasons I used 2×6’s for the interior wall dividing the kitchen and bathroom was to create storage space. So today’s project was filling in space between the rough studs with nicer finished wood sides, backs and shelving.
I used pine, pretty cheap and reasonable quality at HD if you dig around. Still some trim work left to do, along with casing and trimming the bathroom door opening. I’m also adding some shelving with hooks for hanging pots and pans utilizing the other part of the kitchen bathroom wall on the left hand side of the door opening.
